Mr Malcolm Hirst

It is with much sadness that we have to inform everyone that Malcolm passed away this morning in his care home, where he had been for the past six weeks.

Malcom was a long standing member of Spen Victoria, he was a keen supporter of cricket and bowls. He was an ex trustee and ran junior cricket for many years as well as serving on the cricket committee.

We have not only lost a wonderful supporter of the club, we have lost a true gentleman who was respected by all who knew him.

We will provide funeral details as soon as we are made aware of the arrangements.

RIP Malcolm after a great innings.
